<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj148v2ttm" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />A facile strategy has been developed to combine carbon quantum dots and a hydrophobic carbon nitride photocatalyst together to form an infrared-responsive photocatalyst. The photodegradation experiment has confirmed that the obtained material can effectively degrade methyl orange under infrared light irradiation.</p> </abstract>
