<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj148v2v7r" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />We synthesize and characterize nanoparticle-in-matrix composites. These crystalline inorganic nanocomposites have very low thermal conductivities comparable to amorphous polymers.</p> </abstract>
