<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>A molecular Solomon link has been synthesized from an interwoven grid. In their Communication on <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">page 7555 ff., </ext-link> D. A. Leigh et al. describe the assembly of four thiazole ligands and four zinc(II), iron(II), or cobalt(II) cations into 2×2 interwoven grids.
