Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>A 3D covalent fullerene framework with a structure based on hexafunctionalized fullerene building blocks with octahedral symmetry is reported by T. Bein et al. in their Communication on <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">page 7577 ff.</ext-link> Each fullerene in the highly ordered framework is separated from the next by six functional groups, and the mesoporosity is controlled by template‐directed, evaporation‐induced self‐assembly with a block copolymer.
