Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj101k346t" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />Syntheses of disulfonamides and sulfonamides were carried out <italic>via</italic> the electrooxidation of 4-nitroso-<italic>N</italic>, <italic>N</italic>-dimethylaniline in the presence of arylsulfinic acids and direct reaction of 4-nitroso-<italic>N</italic>, <italic>N</italic>-dimethylaniline with arylsulfinic acids, respectively.</p> </abstract>
