<abstract abstract-type="author-highlights" id="abs0005"> <title id="sect0005">Highlights</title> <sec> <p id="spar0040"> <list id="lis0010"> <list-item id="lsti0005"> <label></label> <p id="par0005">Tarsal tunnel syndrome is a rare complication of lateralizing calcaneal osteotomies in patients with CMT and cavovarus feet.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0010"> <label></label> <p id="par0010">We report the first case of iatrogenic tarsal tunnel syndrome in a patient without any pre-existing neurological disorder.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0015"> <label></label> <p id="par0015">Awareness of this complication and expedient surgical release can lead to a successful outcome.</p> </list-item> </list> </p> </sec> </abstract>
