- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Sr<sub>3</sub>M<sub>2</sub>(OH)<sub>12</sub> (M = Al, Cr, Fe) are prepared by mechanical room temperature solid state reaction through quickly grinding mixtures of Al(NO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>3</sub>·9H<sub>2</sub>O or MCl<sub>3</sub>·6H<sub>2</sub>O (M: Cr, Fe), Sr(NO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>2</sub>, and 10 mol% excess solid NaOH.</p> </abstract>
