<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="cam4417-abs-0002"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>The <italic>BRAF</italic> mutation occurs commonly in papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC).
