Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="author-highlights" id="abs0005"> <title id="sect0005">Highlights</title> <sec> <p id="spar0005"> <list id="lis0005"> <list-item id="lsti0005"> <label></label> <p id="par0005">A 24-year old male with six-months history of multiple swellings over his right Achilles tendon.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0010"> <label></label> <p id="par0010">Multiple bony lumps found within the main substance of right Achilles tendon.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0015"> <label></label> <p id="par0015">Plain radiographs showed seven discrete ossified deposits.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0020"> <label></label> <p id="par0020">Surgical excision was carried out and the ossified deposits were shelled out.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0025"> <label></label> <p id="par0025">Postoperatively, radiographs confirmed complete excision of all the lumps.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0026"> <label></label> <p id="par0026">The patient had a complete resolution of his symptoms.
