<abstract xml:lang="en" abstract-type="author-highlights" id="ab005"> <title id="st085">Highlights</title> <sec> <p id="sp0005"> <list id="l0005"> <list-item id="o0005"> <label></label> <p id="p0155">Single- and paired-pulse stimulations were used to investigate the recovery function of SEFs in young and senior subjects using MEG system.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="o0010"> <label></label> <p id="p0160">The N20m ratios at ISI 60 and 80 ms, and the P30m ratios at ISI of 80 and 100 ms showed an even disinhibition in the senior than in the younger.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="o0015"> <label></label> <p id="p0165">The N20m and P30m components have different functions and the second stimulus-evoked SEF was less inhibited by the stimulus at an ISI of 80 ms in aging-related recovery changes.</p> </list-item> </list> </p> </sec> </abstract>
