- <abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgjp0c9p7c" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />The passage of Lucifer Yellow across the Caco-2 intestinal model membrane has been studied for the <italic>para</italic>-sulphonato-calix[<italic>n</italic>]arenes (CnS), the results show C4S and C8S activate membrane passage when used simultaneously with Lucifer Yellow, whereas C6S has no effect.</p> </abstract>
