<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="adma201501100-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Antiferroelectric thin films</bold> are demonstrated as a new class of giant electrocaloric materials that exhibit a negative electrocaloric response of about −5 K near room temperature.
