Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgjn2s0w5k" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />Scheelite-type SrMO₄ oxides (M = Mo, W) convert upon thermal treatment under an ammonia atmosphere into an intermediate scheelite-type oxynitride phase SrMO_{4−<italic>y</italic>}N_{<italic>y</italic>} at 600 °C, and subsequently rearrange into perovskite-type oxynitrides SrMO_{3−<italic>x</italic>}N_{<italic>x</italic>} at higher temperatures.</p> </abstract>
