<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgjn2p9zcf" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />UV-guided isolation of polyacetylenes from <italic>Codonopsis pilosula</italic> has successfully led to the characterization of new polyynes and polyenes. The HCVcc infection assay was used to evaluate the anti-HCV activity of compounds <bold>1–12</bold>.</p> </abstract>
