<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgjn2nxtn9" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />Encapsulation of [Fe(bipy)Cl₄][bipy.H] (<bold>1</bold>) (where bipy is 2, 2′-bipyridine) in the Al-MCM-41 molecular sieve by using a "ship in a bottle synthesis" approach was achieved and the product was used as a nano-reactor in selective oxidation reactions.</p> </abstract>
