- <abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgjn2j2vmt" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />A 0.75Li<sub>1.2</sub>Ni<sub>0.2</sub>Mn<sub>0.6</sub>O<sub>2</sub>·0.25LiNi<sub>0.5</sub>Mn<sub>1.5</sub>O<sub>4</sub> cathode material with outstanding electrochemical properties has been synthesized by introducing spinel LiNi<sub>0.5</sub>Mn<sub>1.5</sub>O<sub>4</sub> material to fill the surface gaps in pristine lithium-rich layered Li<sub>1.2</sub>Ni<sub>0.2</sub>Mn<sub>0.6</sub>O<sub>2</sub> in a molar ratio of 25 : 75.</p> </abstract>
