<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgjn2f8hrh" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />Manganese(<sc>iii</sc>) porphyrin exhibited excellent activity for the selective oxidation of propylene. Experimental evidences that the generation of peroxide and Mn(<sc>iv</sc>) oxo species, which was well confirmed by <italic>in situ</italic> IR, <italic>in situ</italic> UV and MS.</p> </abstract>
