Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="main" id="cbdd12460-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>Twenty‐one novel oxime ether strobilurins containing indole moiety, which employed an indole group to stabilize the <italic>E</italic>‐styryl group in Enoxastrobin, were designed and synthesized. The biological assay indicated that most compounds exhibited potent fungicidal activities. The structure–activity relationship study demonstrated that the synthesized methyl 3‐methoxypropenoate oxime ethers <bold>7b–e</bold> exhibited remarkably high activities among all the synthesized oxime ether compounds <bold>7</bold>. Moreover, the fungicidal activities of methyl <italic>α</italic>‐(methoxyimino)benzeneacetate oxime ethers compounds <bold>7f–i</bold> and <italic>N‐</italic>methoxy‐carbamic acid methyl esters compounds <bold>7j–m</bold> showed significant differences compared to the corresponding products of ammonolysis.</p> </abstract>
