<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Carbohydrates</bold> A new entry to conformationally fixed glycosamine analogues by Beckmann rearrangement, in which the nitrogen atom is introduced in the last step, has been developed. Reactions of various glycals proceeded smoothly in high yields, and the final products showed some inhibition of O‐GlcNAcase (OGA). For more details see the Communication by T. Linker and S.
