<abstract abstract-type="author-highlights" id="ab0010"> <title id="st0010">Highlights</title> <sec> <p id="sp0010"> <list id="ulist0010"> <list-item id="u0010"> <label></label> <p id="p0010">A novel hysteroscopic technique for metroplasty, the "<italic><bold>H</bold>ysteroscopic <bold>O</bold>utpatient <bold>M</bold>etroplasty to <bold>E</bold>xpand <bold>D</bold>ysmorphic <bold>U</bold>teri</italic> (HOME-DU technique)" was evaluated.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="u0015"> <label></label> <p id="p0015">The study was conducted on 30 infertile women with dysmorphic uterus (T-shaped and tubular-shaped/infantilis uteri) – as diagnosed by office hysteroscopy and three-dimensional trans-vaginal ultrasound – who underwent the HOME-DU technique.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="u0020"> <label></label> <p id="p0020">Our data seem to support the safety and efficacy of such outpatient technique in order to improve the volume and shape of dysmorphic uteri.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="u0025"> <label></label> <p id="p0025">The improvement of the uterine cavity volume and morphology may offer new approaches in increasing reproductive outcomes.</p> </list-item> </list> </p> </sec> </abstract>
