<abstract abstract-type="author-highlights" id="abs0005"> <title id="sect0005">Highlights</title> <sec> <p id="spar0005"> <list id="lis0005"> <list-item id="lsti0005"> <label></label> <p id="par0005">We interviewed 60 caregivers and seven pharmacists about OTC medication information.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0010"> <label></label> <p id="par0010">Caregivers found it difficult to understand scientific terms in all information.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0015"> <label></label> <p id="par0015">10% of respondents were unable to understand dosage requirements for children.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0020"> <label></label> <p id="par0020">43% of pharmacists felt the information was ineffective in preventing overdosing.</p> </list-item> </list> </p> </sec> </abstract>
