<abstract abstract-type="author-highlights" id="abs0005"> <title id="sect0005">Highlights</title> <sec> <p id="spar0055"> <list id="lis0010"> <list-item id="lsti0005"> <label></label> <p id="par0005">Clothing related burns remain relatively rare in NSW (2% of all burn injury hospitalisations).</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0010"> <label></label> <p id="par0010">Hospitalisations for all clothing burns have decreased by 4% per year over last 15 years.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0015"> <label></label> <p id="par0015">Hospitalisation for nightwear related burns has decreased at significantly faster rate (7.4% per year) than other clothing burns (2.5% per year).</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0020"> <label></label> <p id="par0020">Accelerant use, cigarettes, loose clothing and angle grinders were common risk factors.</p> </list-item> </list> </p> </sec> </abstract>
