- <abstract abstract-type="author-highlights" id="abs0005"> <title id="sect0005">Highlights</title> <sec> <p id="spar0005"> <list id="lis0005"> <list-item id="lsti0005"> <label></label> <p id="par0005">Hypothesize that tree sloth microwear features correlate with increasing bite forces.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0010"> <label></label> <p id="par0010">Scratch width is the only feature to correlate to bite force and just in <italic>Choloepus.</italic></p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0015"> <label></label> <p id="par0015"> <italic>Bradypus</italic> shows no significant correlation of microwear features with bite force.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0020"> <label></label> <p id="par0020">Microwear creation is complex and requires more than just simple orthal closure.</p> </list-item> </list> </p> </sec> </abstract>
