<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="ece31344-abs-0002"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>We compiled <italic>LA:SA</italic> measurements from 183 species of Australian evergreen angiosperm trees.
