Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>The cover image illustrates the continuous change in the optical appearance of a thin film of liquid crystals (LC) at a lipopolysaccharides (LPS)‐laden aqueous–LC interface following exposure to an aqueous solution of different proteins. The gradual increase in tilt angle (<italic>θ</italic>) values of the LC is in accordance with the greater binding affinity of the proteins to LPS, as described on <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">p. 753</ext-link> by S. K.
