<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Ru‐catalyzed generation of N—H ketimines [cf.(II)] followed by a Rh‐catalyzed anellation with alkynes allows the preparation of a broad spectrum of isoquinolines bearing various functionalities including 1‐alkoxy derivatives.</p> </abstract>
