<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="ppsc201400104-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>A simple method for fabricating Au nano­particles onto the apex of atomic force microscopy (AFM) tips</bold> is demonstrated. Apex‐selected pulsed electrodeposition, controlled with voltage and pulse time, yields repeatable fabrication of spherical Au nanoparticle tips. Simultaneous fabrication of many tips is demonstrated, enabling high throughput.
