- <abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="smll201401677-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Inspired by biological asymmetric ion channels</bold>, new shape‐tunable and pH‐responsive asymmetric hourglass single nanochannel systems demonstrate unique ion‐transport properties.
