- <abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgh3sg3tj25" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />Some tannin(T)/SP complexes were disrupted by gastric digestion, leading to T release. This was seen for complexes formed with tannin mono-, di- and trimers. In contrast, complexes made by tetra- and pentamers were more resistant to gastric digestion.</p> </abstract>
