- <abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgh3qrdbm67" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />TiO<sub>2</sub>-pillared clays with well-ordered porous structures are successfully prepared <italic>via</italic> incorporating TiO<sub>2</sub> nanosol particles into the clays, where empty octahedral sites are partially modified with divalent metal ions such as Mg<sup>2+</sup> and Fe<sup>2+</sup>.</p> </abstract>
