- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The compounds ScF<sub>3</sub>, (Sc<sub>0.95</sub>Ga<sub>0.05</sub>)F<sub>3</sub>, (Sc<sub>0.9</sub>Ga<sub>0.05</sub>Fe<sub>0.05</sub>)F<sub>3</sub>, (Sc<sub>0.85</sub>Ga<sub>0.05</sub>Fe<sub>0.1</sub>)F<sub>3</sub>, and (Sc<sub>0.8</sub>Ga<sub>0.05</sub>Fe<sub>0.15</sub>)F<sub>3</sub> are prepared by solid state reaction of Sc<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>, Fe<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>, Ga<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>, and NH<sub>4</sub>F (Pt crucible, 600 °C, 5h).</p> </abstract>
