- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Crystals of [LaPb<sub>8</sub>O(OH)<sub>10</sub>(H<sub>2</sub>O)] (NO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>7</sub> (I) and [LaPb<sub>8</sub>O(OH)<sub>10</sub>(H<sub>2</sub>O)] (NO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>7</sub>·2H<sub>2</sub>O (II) are hydrothermally synthesized under subcritical conditions from mixtures of Pb(NO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>2</sub>, H<sub>2</sub>O, and 0.5 and 1 equiv.</p> </abstract>
