- <abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="adma201304967-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>High‐performance visible‐light photodetectors</bold> are achieved based on single nanoribbon lateral heterostructures composed of two different semiconductor alloys epitaxially grown in the lateral direction. They reveal superior spectral response range, responsivity, <italic>I</italic><sub>on</sub>/<italic>I</italic><sub>off</sub> ratio, and external quantum efficiency, relative to devices based on single composition structures. <boxed-text content-type="graphic" position="anchor" orientation="portrait"><graphic position="anchor" mimetype="image" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgh5bng4w" orientation="portrait" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" /></boxed-text></p> </abstract>
