Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Multifunctional cationic conjugated polyelectrolyte (CP)‐coated bacteria</bold> are fabricated for drug loading, delivery and release with multimodal anticancer activity. Facilitated by the collaborative release effect caused by CP and an antibiotic polymyxin B, the loaded toxins leak out from the vectors in considerable amounts and lead to tumor cell death.
