- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>In connection with the preceding paper dealing with the preparation of (Z)‐β‐sulfonyl enoates, the process is extended to the synthesis of bicyclic esters (IV) and (VI) via 1, 3‐dipolar cycloaddition of cyclopentadiene as a third step.</p> </abstract>
