- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Single crystals of Fe<sub>7</sub>Sb<sub>3</sub> (PO<sub>4</sub>)<sub>3</sub>O<sub>6</sub>Cl<sub>3</sub> and Fe<sub>7</sub>Sb<sub>3</sub> (PO<sub>4</sub>)<sub>3</sub>O<sub>6</sub>Br<sub>3</sub> are prepared from 2:1:1:1:1:1 mixtures of Sb<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>, Fe<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>, FeO, FeCl<sub>3</sub>, FeCl<sub>2</sub>, and (NH<sub>4</sub>)H<sub>2</sub>PO<sub>4</sub>, and 3:1:6:1:6:6 mixtures of Sb<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>, Fe<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>, FeO, FeBr<sub>3</sub>, FeBr<sub>2</sub>, and (NH<sub>4</sub>)H<sub>2</sub>PO<sub>4</sub>, respectively (silica tubes, 500 °C, 70 h).</p> </abstract>
