Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The new blue‐emitting phosphor Na_0.34Ca_0.66Al_1.66Si_2.34O₈:Eu²⁺ (I) is synthesized by addition of an EtOH solution of Si(OEt)₄ to an aqueous solution of NaNO₃, EuCl₂, Ca(NO₃)₂, and Al(NO₃)₃ followed by solvent evaporation (120 °C, 24 h) and firing of the dry powder in a 5%H₂/N₂ atmosphere (1400 °C, 3 h).</p> </abstract>
