Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>A fluorogenic guanosine‐dansyl conjugate (depicted) </bold> that detects G‐quadruplex DNA through fluorescence enhancement has been developed by J. Dash et al. and reported in their Communication on <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">page 11502 ff.</ext-link> This dinucleoside interacts with both the external G‐quartets and in the groove regions of <italic>c‐myc</italic> G‐quadruplex DNA.
