<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Hydrate your chemistry!</bold> Hydrative cyclization of 5‐yne‐ynamides in the presence of Echavarren's catalyst and <italic>p</italic>‐toluenesulphonic acid (PTSA)<bold>⋅</bold>H₂O at room temperature affords an array of 1, 6‐dihydropyridin‐2(3<italic>H</italic>)one derivatives.
