<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="smll201401916-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Au–Cu₂O core–shell nanocubes, octahedra, and rhombic dodecahedra</bold> display facet‐dependent optical properties. Furthermore, different‐sized Au–Cu₂O octahedra with 58, 65, 68, and 73 nm octahedral gold cores clearly show a transition from the shell thickness‐independent gold surface plasmon resonance band for octahedra with smaller gold cores to progressive red‐shifts of the band with increasing shell thickness in octahedra with larger gold cores. <boxed-text content-type="graphic" position="anchor" orientation="portrait"><graphic position="anchor" mimetype="image" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgh31q0rb72" orientation="portrait" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" /></boxed-text></p> </abstract>
