<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Pyrochlore‐type cubic WO<sub>3</sub>·0.5H<sub>2</sub>O is prepared by solvothermal processing of an aqueous solution of Na<sub>2</sub>WO<sub>4</sub>, urea, and HCl in H<sub>2</sub>O/acetone (autoclave, 140 °C, 3 d).</p> </abstract>
