Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>Silica–organic hybrid nanoparticles are described by K. Kuroda, A. Shimojima, and co‐workers in their Communication on <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">page 9173 ff.</ext-link> First, reverse mesostructures are obtained by the self‐assembly of a new type of oligosiloxanes. The dispersion of the mesostructures in a nonpolar solvent transforms them into siloxane core/organic shell nanoparticles.
