<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="smll201303593-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Designed and fabrication of a novel magnetic hollow gold nanoshell complexes</bold> that incorporates iron oxide nanoparticles in the hollow interior. The combined effect of the smaller IONPs improved the overall magnetic properties of the design and MRI contrast capability.
