<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The binary Zintl anion [GaBi<sub>3</sub>]<sup>2‐</sup> decomposes under oxidative coupling of pyridine and release of H<sub>2</sub> to form the polycyclic bismuth polyanion [Bi<sub>11</sub>]<sup>3‐</sup>, which exhibits the [P<sub>11</sub>]<sup>3‐</sup> "ufosan" structure.</p> </abstract>
