- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The new uranium borates K<sub>10</sub> [(UO<sub>2</sub>)<sub>16</sub>(B<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub>)<sub>2</sub> (BO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>6</sub>O<sub>8</sub>]·7H<sub>2</sub>O (I) and K<sub>13</sub> [(UO<sub>2</sub>)<sub>19</sub>(UO<sub>4</sub>) (B<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub>)<sub>2</sub> (BO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>6</sub>(OH)<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub>] ·H<sub>2</sub>O (II) are isolated in 50% and 25% yield, resp., from reactions of UO<sub>3</sub>, KBO<sub>2</sub>, B<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>, and KOH in supercritical H<sub>2</sub>O (sealed Ag ampoules in autoclave, 600 °C, 4 d, ≈200 MPa).</p> </abstract>
