<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>An environmentally benign calcium catalyst</bold> effects the first transition‐metal‐free carboarylation of alkynes with commercial and readily available alcohols as alkylating agents. In their Communication on <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">page 6367 ff.</ext-link>, L. Fu and M.
