<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Single crystals of Na<sub>4</sub>NiP<sub>2</sub>O<sub>7</sub>F<sub>2</sub> are prepared by a flux reaction of NiO with excess Na<sub>2</sub>PO<sub>3</sub>F (Au crucible in silica tube, 675 °C, 8 h; cooling to 400 °C within 10 h).</p> </abstract>
