<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>NaLn<sub>3</sub>GeS<sub>7</sub> (Ln: Ce (I), Nd (II), Sm (III), Gd (IV), Yb (V)) are prepared by solid state reaction of LnCl<sub>3</sub> and Na<sub>2</sub>GeS<sub>3</sub> (graphite crucible in evacuated silica tube, 825 °C, 96 h).</p> </abstract>
