<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Dark‐red crystals of the title compound are hydrothermally synthesized from aqueous mixtures of MnCl<sub>2</sub>, NH<sub>4</sub>VO<sub>3</sub>, Ba(OAc)<sub>2</sub>, and LiCl (autoclave, 220 °C, 3—4 d, 55% yield).</p> </abstract>
