<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>A wide range of 2‐substituted benzoxazoles is synthesized from N‐(2‐halophenyl)benzamides including less reactive chloro derivatives via Cu‐catalyzed intramolecular coupling reactions using 2‐methoxybenzoate as the ligand.</p> </abstract>
